Getting Started with Coin Farmer
Coin Farmer is a Windows desktop application for managing a focused OKX spot-trading strategy using rooms, spacing, and rent targets. The goal is disciplined inventory management—not constant chasing, prediction, or leverage.
1. Install Coin Farmer
Download Coin Farmer only from the official Coin Farmer site. The Windows installer is digitally signed by Daniel Vasquez. After installation, launch Coin Farmer from the Start Menu or desktop shortcut.
2. Activate Your License
Open Activate License, copy your Machine Code, and enter the license key issued for that machine. Coin Farmer uses an offline, machine-bound license.
3. Create an OKX API Key
- Enable Read permission.
- Enable Trade permission.
- Do not enable Withdraw.
- For most residential users, consider leaving the IP allowlist blank if your home internet address changes frequently.
Some internet providers rotate or change residential IPv4/IPv6 addresses after a reconnect, router restart, or PC restart. If an OKX API key is locked to an old address, authentication can fail until the allowlist is updated.
4. Save and Test the Connection
Enter the API Key, API Secret, and Passphrase in Coin Farmer. Click Save Settings, then Test OKX Connection. Do not continue to LIVE mode until the connection test passes.
5. Start with DRY RUN
Before using real orders, run Coin Farmer with LIVE MODE unchecked. DRY RUN lets you confirm that the pair, room size, room count, spacing, rent target, startup behavior, and logs all work as expected without placing real orders.
6. Move to LIVE Mode Carefully
When you understand the behavior and are comfortable with your settings, enable LIVE MODE and begin with conservative sizing. Coin Farmer is designed to fail closed: if OKX authentication fails during automatic LIVE resume, farming is blocked rather than continuing blindly.
Coin Farmer does not guarantee profits. Crypto markets can move sharply and losses are possible. Use only capital you can afford to have committed or lose.
