How Coin Farmer Works
Coin Farmer treats a position like a small property with rooms. Each room represents a separate buy layer. The system waits for price conditions, opens inventory in measured steps, and looks for a configured rent target before closing inventory.
The Basic Farming Cycle
- Scout: Coin Farmer watches the selected pair and waits for the first-entry conditions.
- Open a room: When the entry conditions are met, the first room can be filled.
- Wait for spacing: Additional rooms are only considered after price moves lower by the configured later-buy spacing.
- Collect rent: When inventory reaches the configured rent target, Coin Farmer can sell according to its rules.
- Repeat: After a completed rent cycle, Coin Farmer continues according to Continuous or Limited farming mode.
Why Multiple Rooms?
Multiple rooms allow inventory to be acquired at different prices instead of committing the entire allocation at once. If price falls further, a later room may be opened lower, which can reduce the average cost of the total inventory. This can also increase exposure, so room count and allocation should be chosen carefully.
Room Size
Room Size is the percentage of account equity targeted for each buy. Smaller rooms preserve more unused capital and reduce the amount committed by any single entry. Larger rooms increase exposure faster.
Later Buy Spacing
Later Buy Spacing controls how far price must drop from the most recent buy before another room may be considered. Wider spacing reduces clustering. Tighter spacing can fill rooms faster but can also commit capital more quickly during a falling market.
Rent Target
The Rent Target is the gross target used by the strategy before fill and fee accounting. Trading fees, slippage, market liquidity, and execution price can affect realized results.
Storm Protection
Storm Protection is a safety layer intended to reduce new buying during unusually sharp market weakness. It is not a guarantee against losses and cannot prevent every adverse move.
Continuous vs. Limited Farming
Continuous mode keeps evaluating after completed rents. Limited mode stops after the configured number of completed rents. Limited mode can be useful for controlled testing or for users who prefer a defined stopping point.
