Coin Farmer Glossary

Farmer

The Coin Farmer process that monitors the selected market and applies the configured farming rules.

Pair

The OKX spot market being farmed, such as KAT-USDT or LINK-USDT.

Room

A separate buy layer. Multiple rooms allow inventory to be acquired at different price levels.

Room Size (%)

The percentage of account equity targeted for each room purchase.

Maximum Rooms

The maximum number of rooms that may be occupied at the same time for the selected pair.

Max Pair Allocation (%)

A hard cap on the percentage of account equity Coin Farmer may commit to the selected pair.

Later Buy Spacing (%)

The required percentage drop from the most recent buy before another room may be considered.

Rent Target (%)

The gross target used by the strategy before fill and fee accounting. Actual realized results may differ because of fees, slippage, and execution price.

First-Entry RSI Max

A value-zone filter used when evaluating the first entry.

Lower Bollinger Band Entry

An optional first-entry condition that allows a buy when price is at or below the lower Bollinger Band, subject to the other active rules.

Storm Protection

A safety feature intended to reduce new buying during unusually sharp market weakness.

Farming Mode

Continuous keeps farming after completed rents. Limited stops after a user-defined number of completed rents.

Completed Rent

A completed buy-to-sell farming cycle counted by Coin Farmer.

DRY RUN

A non-live mode used to test settings and behavior without placing real exchange orders.

LIVE MODE

Real-order mode. When enabled, Coin Farmer may place actual OKX spot orders according to the configured strategy.

Resume Farming After Restart

An optional Windows/background setting that attempts to resume farming after the application restarts. LIVE resume requires a fresh successful OKX authentication check and fails closed if authentication does not pass.

Dynamic IP

A residential internet address that may change over time. If an OKX API key is restricted to an old IPv4/IPv6 address, authentication can fail until the allowlist is updated.

Diagnostics Package

A support package created by Coin Farmer that can contain logs and diagnostic information useful for troubleshooting. Review the contents before sharing if desired.
