Troubleshooting

Troubleshooting

This guide covers the most common Coin Farmer setup and connection issues.

Coin Farmer Will Not Start

  • Restart Windows once and try again.
  • Launch Coin Farmer from the Start Menu or desktop shortcut.
  • Confirm the installed EXE has a valid digital signature from Daniel Vasquez.
  • If security software blocks the application, verify you installed the current signed release from the official Downloads page.

OKX Connection Test Fails

  • Confirm the API Key, API Secret, and Passphrase are correct.
  • Confirm the API key has Read + Trade permission.
  • Do not enable Withdraw.
  • Check whether the OKX API key is restricted to an old IP address.

Authentication Fails After Restart

Some residential internet providers rotate IPv4 or IPv6 addresses after a router reconnect, PC restart, or network change. If your OKX API key is bound to an old address, Coin Farmer may report that LIVE resume is blocked because authentication failed.

For most residential users with dynamic addresses, consider leaving the OKX API IP allowlist blank while keeping permissions limited to Read + Trade and never enabling Withdraw.

LIVE Resume Is Blocked

This is a safety feature. Coin Farmer requires a fresh successful OKX authentication check before automatically resuming LIVE farming after restart. If authentication fails, LIVE resume is blocked instead of placing orders blindly.

Settings Do Not Appear to Save

  • Click Save Settings before closing the application.
  • Restart Coin Farmer and confirm your values reload.
  • Use Create Diagnostics if the problem continues.

Start with Windows / Tray Behavior

Open Windows & Background inside Coin Farmer to configure startup behavior, minimized tray startup, and optional farming resume. If the application is running in the tray, click the Coin Farmer tray icon to restore the window.

Create a Diagnostics Package

Click Create Diagnostics in Coin Farmer when support needs more information. Review the package contents if desired before sharing it.

Still Need Help?

Visit the Support page and include the Coin Farmer version, what you were doing when the problem occurred, the exact error message, and a diagnostics package when requested.
